Paediatric First Aid Certification - 6 and 12 hour courses PLUS BLENDED OPTION
Making Medics are approved providers of paediatric first aid training. This paediatric first aid course meets the requirements of the Early Years foundation stage statutory framework. The course focuses on emergency scenarios that are faced by professionals, including teachers, au pairs and playgroup leaders, looking after young children. It meets Ofsted requirements for registered childminders and the requirements for nannies under the Approved Carers Scheme. It can also be used as evidence for employees working towards an NVQ in Childcare and Education.
The trainers that provide these courses are fully qualified in both experience, first aid and training.
This is a regulated qualification provided through a recognised awarding organisation.
Who should attend?
This course is for people working with younger children – those up to eight years old – or working towards an NVQ in Childcare and Education.
BLENDED DAY 2 AVAILABLE -
We offer an alternative to the 2 days in the classroom for childminders and carers who need to complete a Paediatric First Aid Course to comply with the requirements of Ofsted, EYFS and SureStart. Our blended course offers a video based online course that is completed before attending a full day in the classroom with an instructor to complete the practical part of the course.
This course offers an excellent alternative for those who are simply unable to spare the time to attend 2 days in a classroom only course. When you have successfully completed both the online and classroom modules, you will be issued a certificate and wallet card.
