Empowering more people to deliver lifesaving first aid
MAKING MEDICS is based in Orpington, Kent. The company was set up by Ellen Ansell who currently delivers all our training sessions, as a response to a need for accessible, straightforward first aid training that leaves students with lasting confidence to use their skills.
After working for the Ambulance Service for 15 years I realised that there is a severe lack of First Aid training within the community enabling people to help save lives whilst waiting for and ambulance to arrive. I therefore set up this company to allow me to teach people these lifesaving skills.
I passionately believe that more people could and should have the confidence to deliver these skills. Through straightforward first aid instruction delivered in flexible, relaxed and informative sessions I will empower you to feel in control should you be faced with an emergency.
We will make it as easy as possible for you to access first aid instruction by delivering at your location of choice. I will empower you to deliver lifesaving first aid so that you will feel able to step up if needed in a variety of situations.
Ellen Ansell is currently employed as an Ambulance Technician working with London Ambulance Service and South East Coast Ambulance Service. She is a qualified First Aid Instructor and has appropriate, up to date teaching & assessing qualifications and has been teaching first aid courses for 3 years.
Ellen has 12 years of experience delivering lifesaving Frontline first aid as a member of ambulance crew and prior to that worked as a call operator and dispatcher within the London Ambulance Service control room,
